Two big named music bands will be spending part of their summer going all across North America.
The bands Hall & Oates and Tears for Fears will unite this summer to hold their own joint North American tour. Their collective journey will take place over the course over 29 dates, starting on May 4th and going all the way to the end of July, from Tulsa, Oklahoma all the way to Los Angeles. Soul singer Allen Stone will serve as the opening act and play his own acoustic sets for each show.
When asked about the tour, Daryl Hall of Hall & Oates mentioned his excitement for working with Tears for Fears and added that he appreciates their timeless style of music, something that his own music can relate to. He then went on to suggest that this tour could very well be the start of a long relationship between both groups. Oates simply said that he was too eager to get on the road with the band and finished by saying that Tears for Fears had been one of his favorite bands for quite some time.
On the Tears for Fears end, the band has previously announced that they were working hard on releasing their own album this year, with the newest one being the first one they’ve released in thirteen years. In fact they had to reschedule their previous tour in order to work on the album. The last album that Hall & Oates had put out was “Home for Christmas,” which was a studio set that came out back in 2006.
